MY FAVOURITE ANIMAL: QUITITA

By Rafa Iranzo Luján (1r ESO B)

My favourite animal is my cat Quitita. She lives in my house in Turís, Valencia. She has got four legs and a long tail. She is brown, black and white. She can sleep twenty-two hours! She can jump about two metres. Quitita is carnivorous – she eats meat, insects and flies. She sleeps in my bed, she runs and jumps about two hours and she hunts insects and birds. In the picture, she is sleepin in my bed.

MORE FIFTY WORDS STORIES (DOT COM)

Magician

He had been practising his tricks for years. Yesterday, I was waiting for him but he didn’t appear. Suddenly I went into his room and I saw a strange thing. It was a rabbit under the bed and he looked at me in a strange way. Where’s my husband?

An uncertain tomorrow

I was dreaming of my death. I saw myself in my grave. People say we can’t dream that we are dead, though. Then I woke up and I saw a lot of people in my room. However, I felt invisible. They were wearing black clothes. So weird…

Fake name.

Anika was working in Russia for the FBI. When she arrived at the hotel, the room clerk was talking with an American woman who said she wasn't married, so her husband couldn't have had a car accident. Then Anika remembered she had checked in with her real name.

FIFTYWORDSTORIES.COM

Hi there!! It’s been a while since you last came across such good fiction short stories as those below. And yeah, short means short. Open-ended fifty-word narratives full of wit, conciseness and insightful subjectivity well worth perusing. Which one is your favourite?

Could it be?

I can’t sleep. I feel a presence breathing.
I thought I was crazy. One night screams woke me up. I saw a light that was coming from the basement. I tried to open the door. Unfortunately, I couldn’t. The door had been closed before I lived there.

Obsessive love.

When I saw your eyes I fell in love. I am infatuated. I can’t forget you, honey.
Your scent is so sweet (He smells the girl’s skin). Oh, Love, don’t cry. I don’t want to do anything bad to you. The only thing I want is your love.

GOING MULTILINGUAL!!
